Ryan Boudreau, MD

Ryan Boudreau, MD, a board-certified general surgeon and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at UChicago Medicine, specializing in the care of traumatically injured and critically ill surgical patients. Dr. Boudreau completed his Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Louisiana State University. He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed general surgery residency and research fellowship at the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Boudreau has an interest in basic, clinical, and outcomes research related to trauma. Dr. Boudreau is committed to excellence in patient care, education of all learners – including medical students, residents, and fellows, and advancing the field of trauma and acute care surgery through research. His research has been published in respected journals such as Biochimie, Journal of Neurotrauma and Journal of Surgical Research.
